Raise a Glass at Monroe Women's Club Wine Tasting

The Monroe Women’s Club is hosting a Wine Tasting fundraiser Thursday, Sept. 18, that will make you raise your glass and excite your palate.

The event will feature seven tastings, delicious appetizers, a dazzling silent auction and a memento wine glass. Additional wine by the glass and bottle will be available for sale.

Tickets are $30 per person and advance purchase is required. Tickets will be on sale at the Farmer’s Market on Friday, Aug. 15 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., and are also available by mail. Send checks to MWC, P.O. Box 73, Monroe, 06468.

Proceeds benefit community programs. The Monroe Women’s Club is a 501(c)3 organization, serving the Monroe community and surrounding areas for over 37 years. The organization is best known for the Holiday Tree Lighting with Santa Visit, Kite Flying Day, Halloween Costume Collections, Food Drives and Holiday Sales of Poinsettias and Luminaries. We also support the American Cancer Society, Female Veterans and other outreach programs.
