MONROE, CT -- The threat of heavy rain has compelled the state Department of Transportation (DOT) to cancel road work along Route 25 this weekend.
The road from Brook Street to Knowlwood Avenue was scheduled to be closed beginning, Friday, Aug. 10, at 8 p.m., and lasting through 6 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 13.
The DOT has re-scheduled the work from 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 17, through 6 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 20.
