A man, who got permission from a commercial property owner to park his 2002 Dodge Neon at 27 Main Street while trying to sell it during the day, reported his car stolen on Aug. 26.
Police said the man told them he and his wife went to pick the car up at 6:36 p.m., but it was gone. The car had been locked, according to the report.
The Neon was later recovered in Trumbull on Tuesday morning. Â
