Truck Crashes Into Monroe House After Hitting Pole

A pickup truck crashed through a pole and into a residence early Friday morning.

MONROE, CT — A pickup truck smashed through a utility road and into a house on Wheeler Road early Friday morning.

The crash happened around 2:45 a.m., according to the Monroe Volunteer Fire Department. The utility pole was severed during the incident.

The scene was turned over to police and Eversource.
