Veteran Monroe Educator Named Principal Of Fawn Hollow School

Current Fawn Hollow Rebecca Kosisko is retiring.

MONROE, CT — The school district has appointed a local career-educator as principal of Fawn Hollow School, the Connecticut Post is reporting.

Leigh Metcalf Ances, currently the director the Jockey Hollow STEM Academy, will take over for the retiring Rebecca Kosisko, who has been principal at Fawn Hollow for 11 years.

Prior to her leadership position at Jockey Hollow, Metcalf Ances was the dean of students at Chalk Hill Upper Elementary School. She began her career at Jockey Hollow 24 years ago, teaching 8th grade English language arts and social studies.
