2 Men Charged In Montville Fentanyl Bust: Police

MONTVILLE, CT — Two men were arrested on drug charges after police raided a building last month. Heriberto Alvarado, aka "Eddie," 42, and Manuel Santoz, 47, were arrested.

According to police:

Nov. 12 at about 1 a.m., police executed a search and seizure warrant at 4 Depot Road C in Uncasville. Police seized 137 bags of fentanyl and a vehicle.

Alvarado was charged with possession of a narcotic with intent to sell, possession of a narcotic with intent to sell within 1500 feet of a school, possession of a narcotic, and possession of a narcotic within 1500 feet of a school. He was held released on $50,000 bond.

Santoz was charged with possession of a narcotic and released on $2,500 bond.
