3 Mohegan Sun Employees Tested Positive For Coronavirus
Three casino employees tested positive for coronavirus earlier this month.
MONTVILLE, CT — Mohegan Sun has said that three employees at the casino tested positive for coronavirus earlier this month, WFSB reported. The casino then implemented protocols for testing, contract tracing, and isolating.
Employees who had close contact with those who tested positive were were told to immediately self-quarantine.
The first employee tested positive July 5, according to NBC CT. Two more employees tested positive after that.

The impacted workers were paid for lost time. Currently there are no COVID-19 cases among Mohegan Sun employees, NBC CT reported.
The casino reopened last month after nearly three months of closure.
