East Lyme Touch a Truck Canceled

"We Shall Return!"

Sally Myers, President of the Thames West Auxiliary of the Child and Family Agency of Southeastern CT has announced that the Touch a Truck scheduled for September 26th has been canceled due to health and safety concerns because of the pandemic.

She said, “Child & Family Agency and East Lyme Parks & Rec highly value the health, safety, and well-being of our truckers, sponsors, volunteers, and community members who have wholeheartedly supported Touch A Truck over the past twelve years. Please know that we are committed to producing our signature event again as soon as it can be done safely. We look forward to your continuing support.

This is “So Long” but not “Goodbye”.
