Eastern Student Laura Hafner of Uncasville Honored

WILLIMANTIC, CT—Eastern Connecticut State University's Department of Health Sciences held its fourth annual award ceremony on April 25.

Sixteen students were inducted into the Phi Theta Delta Health Sciences Honor Society and 27 students were awarded for their academic achievements in the major.

Among the honorees was Laura Hafner, the ECSU Class of '19 member. Hafner, of Uncasville, majors in Health Sciences.

Hafner, the Montville High School graduate, was awarded the Outstanding Junior certificate of appreciation.
