WATCH: Fishermen, Firefighters, Cops Rescue Puppy Trapped In Well
Fishermen heard a dog's cries, investigated and found a pup at the bottom of a 15-foot deep well, trapped. But not for long. Happy Monday.
MONTVILLE, CT — It says a lot about first responders when they're willing to do whatever it takes to rescue ...a lost dog, trapped in the bottom of a well.
Montville Police took to Facebook to explain and share photos and videos of the rescue.
"Two amazing fisherman heard a cry for help and found a puppy about 15 feet down a well. They called for help and Montville Police and Montville animal control arrived and determined that they needed the fire department to assist with the confined space rescue.

Montville paid staff and Montville Fire Department arrived and requested assistance from Mohegan Tribal Fire Department confined space rescue team. Montville 911 communication center coordinated all the efforts!
The puppy was very happy to have a friend down the hole with her and was loving getting Beggin' Strips and love when she was rescued.
