State police K9 Jack and Trooper Kelo show up in the middle of the night to help Groton cops track a suspect hiding in the woods.

GROTON, CT — In the pre-dawn hours Friday, a car crashed on Gales Ferry Road. The driver took off into the woods.
Just before 3 a.m., Connecticut State Police Troop E officer Kelo and his K9 partner arrived to lend Groton Town Police a hand. K9 trooper Jack "immediately began tracking south towards Route 117."
Troopers took to Facebook to explain: "K9 Jack then began pulling to the southwest into the woods and thicket. After tracking approximately 200 yards into the woods the operator was located hiding in the brush and was taken into custody."
