Man Charged In Montville Attempted Car Break In
A man was charged following an attempted car break in Wednesday night.
MONTVILLE, CT — A 37-year-old Hamden man was arrested on accusations that he attempted to burglarize a car in Montville. Police responded at 11:31 p.m. Wednesday after a homeowner saw an unknown man attempting to break into her vehicle.
A police officer and a K9 police dog tracked the suspect north on Holly Hill along the road and across several driveways. About a quarter of a mile further down, the K9 located the man behind the truck, according to a police Facebook post.
The man was charged with attempted larceny, burglary, and trespassing.
