Man Charged With Robbery, Gun Crimes In Montville

A man is facing numerous charges following a police investigation.

MONTVILLE, CT — A Norwich man is facing numerous charges following an investigation by Montville police. Marcus Douton was charged with first-degree criminal attempt of robbery, second-degree assault with a firearm, carrying a pistol without a permit, weapon in a motor vehicle, second-degree reckless endangerment, risk of injury to a minor, third-degree larceny, interfering with police, reckless driving, operating under suspension, and engaging police in a pursuit.

He was held on $200,000 bond and will appear in court Monday.
