Mohegan Gaming And Entertainment CEO Steps Down After 6 Years

Big leadership changes have been announced at Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment.

MONTVILLE, CT — Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment is shaking up its leadership with Mario Kontomerkos leaving as CEO after six years, according to The Hartford Business Journal. Ray Pineault will become interim CEO and Carol Anderson was hired as CFO.

Mohegan Tribe Chairman James Gessner Jr. said Kontomerkos played a vital role in the company's growth. Pinault has 20 years of experience with Mohegan Sun and will lead the company as they search for a new CEO, The Hartford Business Journal reported.
