Mohegan Sun Golf Course Hosts Charity Event May 18
The golf event is sponsored by Young Leaders of United Way of Southeastern CT.

From Mohegan Sun: Taking place right at dusk on Friday, May 18th, The Young Leaders of United Way of Southeastern CT & Mohegan Sun are teaming up for a special golf competition benefiting important local causes. Mohegan Sun Golf Club, located at 7 Dows Lane in Baltic, CT, will be hosting a “Glow Golf” event, where teams of four will compete against each other to win overnight hotel stays at Mohegan Sun. The action kicks off at 6:00pm, lasting through 11:00pmand is a 21 and over event! On-hand for the evening will be Munchies Food Truck, a 50/50 raffle, outdoor lawn games and DJae Mêlée spinning records.
To sign up in advance, players can click here. Tickets are $20.00 per person or only $75.00 per team of four. All players and guests are encouraged to bring non-perishable food donations to the event to be donated to the Gemma E. Moran United Way/Labor Food Center in New London, CT.
The contest involves teams competing against each other over the span of four holes at Mohegan Sun Golf Club, which was recently named one of the “best courses in New England” by Golfweek. After completing the holes, teams will move to the short game area for a chance at hitting the golf ball into the “ring of fire,” where each team member is given two shots from a 30 yard distance. Points are then tallied from a total of eight combined shots at the ring of fire, which will be added to the score from the first four holes.
