Montville Police has begun to install new in-cruiser video and audio solutions. Montville police, for years, has relied on in-cruiser video and audio, which has enhanced the safety of our officers and the public.
We have found that in-cruiser video has been extremely instrumental in building cases when investigating DUIs and motor vehicle violations. These systems have also lessened liability for our officers and the department. The new equipment is HD quality audio and video, is feature packed, and is the latest and greatest.
Over the next several weeks, we will be replacing all our older video equipment with these new products. Moving forward with equipment like this helps us keep Montville safe.
