Find out where you can give blood in your area for patients undergoing liver and other types of transplants during Liver Awareness Month.

The American Red Cross is encouraging all eligible donors to give blood to support patients undergoing liver and other types of transplants during During Liver Awareness Month in October.
According to a release, liver transplants are the second most common type of transplant in the U.S.A. A single transplant patient could use over 30 units of blood products. There’s an urgent need for O-, A-, B- and AB donors.
