The latest National Weather Service forecast for the coming week and 4th of July weekend calls for light rain and a chance of thunderstorms during the week and sunny days over the weekend.

• Wednesday: A chance of showers and thunderstorms before 7am, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm between 7am and 3pm, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 3pm.
