Police: Armed Robbery At Golden Palace Restaurant, Victim Knifed

Police look to identify a man they say robbed the popular eatery armed with a knife. A victim has non-life-threatening injuries.

MONTVILLE, CT — State police reported Tuesday afternoon that an armed robbery occurred Monday night at the Golden Palace restaurant.

Connecticut State Police from Troop E and Montville Police responded at 10:10 p.m. for a report of an robbery at the popular Chinese eatery, where the suspect was armed with a knife.

Police said a victim was stabbed and has non-life-threatening injures to his hand and back.

Tuesday night, state police provided security video stills of a man police say was involved in the robbery. Police said the man had an adhesive bandage on the side of his face, similar to a Band-Aid.
