Police: Door-To-Door Salespeople Must Have ID
Sharing a social media post from Canada, Montville Police said anyone selling door-to-door in their town must have police-issued ID.

MONTVILLE, CT — If a person selling something knocks on your door in Montville, they'd better have police-issued identification, and if not, don't open the door, police say.
According to a Facebook post from Montville Police where they shared a social media message from Canada, people with Google-logo clothing went door-to-door selling thermostats. They're not legit, it's reported. Police said it's an opportunity to caution residents advising it's better to be safe than sorry.
