Popular Mohegan Sun Restaurant Set To Close In January: Report
The closure will result in dozens of layoffs.

UNCASVILLE, CT — Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville at Mohegan Sun, the popular bar and restaurant, will close on Jan. 1, resulting in the layoffs of nearly 60 staffers, reports Fox 61.
The restaurant opened in the casino resort in 2008 and is the chain's only New England location.
State labor officials were notified of the pending closure this week, and Mohegan Sun's President and General Manager Ray Pineault told The Day that the casino hopes to retain as many of Margaritaville's employees as possible at the facility's other restaurants.
