State Police Trooper Works Alongside Students As Resource Officer

MONTVILLE, CT — Connecticut State Police Troop E Trooper First Class Lori Fitzgerald is the School Resource Officer for both the Norwich Technical High School and Ella T. Grasso Southeastern Technical High School in Groton.

While on duty to help keep schools and students safe, she also goes beyond that role to work alongside with students, even down to getting her hands soiled.

Wednesday, Fitzgerald was in Groton at Grasso and while there, she worked with bio-tech class students on a greenhouse project.

Fitzgerald's is a familiar face at Grasso.
