Talk on Opiate Addiction Taking Place in Montville
Facts about addiction and opiates and resources to help will be provided at the forum.
A Community Conversation on Addiction will take place in March, featuring a panel of experts. Topics covered will be:
- The importance of prevention
- Facts and fiction about addiction and opiates
- Safety advice
- Help for those struggling with addiction and their families
- Treatment options and successful recovery
When: 6:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 16
Where: Montville High School auditorium
Cost: Free; extra credit for students may be available
Free childcare is available and provided by members of the MHS YES Club Classes of 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019
The forum is sponsored by the Montville mayor’s office, Montville Youth Services Bureau, Montville Public Schools, the Montville CT Police Department and the Southeastern Regional Action Council.
