Temporary Decision Reached On New Montville Refuse Fees: Report
Earlier this year, town officials considered and subsequently tabled a pay-as-you-throw refuse plan to help increase recycling efforts.
MONTVILLE, CT — For the time being, Montville officials are holding off making any changes to the town's refuse regulations and will not make any changes to the fee structure, writes The Day.
The Town Council will revisit the issue and could implement fee increases at a later date, but not before more discussion and more public input.
Officials considered a pay-as-you-throw plan to help increase recycling efforts, but they tabled that idea earlier this year and moved to consider rate increases.
