UNCASVILLE, CT — An Uncasville man's dream to be on "Jeopardy" finally happened Tuesday night after he tried out nine times, according to WTNH. John Prokop said he first auditioned for the show 25 years ago.

When he finally received a call from the show this winter, he was elated. He came up short in Final Jeopardy, but still describes the experience as a huge win, WTNH reported.

He won $2,000, a Jeopardy hat, and other gifts.
