2 More Vehicles Burglarized In New Canaan's Irwin Park: Police

The two vehicles were broken into Sunday afternoon. Similar burglaries were reported in the park in October, according to police.

NEW CANAAN, CT — Two vehicles were burglarized at Irwin Park in New Canaan on Sunday afternoon, similar to a pair of vehicle break-ins at the same park in October, according to New Canaan police.

The Sunday break-ins were reported at about 3:30 p.m., in which the front passenger side windows on both vehicles — a Honda Pilot and a Subaru Legacy — were smashed, said Police Chief Leon Krolikowski.

"The owners of the vehicles were using the park while the crime was being committed," Krolikowski said. "Upon returning to their vehicles, they noticed their front passenger side window had been smashed in.
