2016 New Canaan 4th of July Celebration Details

NEW CANAAN, CT- The 36th annual Family Fourth of July Celebration will be held Monday July 4 at Waveny Park.

The late day activities will include: family picnicking, live music, children's games area, food court, and a spectacular fireworks display.

The rain date is July 5 for fireworks only.

There will be a variety of foods offered for sale, including wood fired pizza, gourmet grilled cheese, lobster rolls, tacos, Philly cheese steaks, hot dogs, burger and ice cream for purchase.

Event passes are necessary to enter the park both by car or walking and may be purchased at the Recreation Department Office, Town Hall, and by New Canaan residents online atwww.newcanaan.info. Additionally tickets can be purchased at Walter Stewart’s Market and The New Canaan Toy Store.

The Family Fourth of July Celebration is made possible entirely through contributions from New Canaan residents, the business community, and local civic organizations.

The pass fee is expected to be $35.
