5 Things for an Interesting Wednesday in New Canaan

Hey New Canaan, the temperatures peak for the week on Wednesday with an anticipated mostly sunny 81 degrees and an evening that drops to a clear 53 degrees, according to Weather.com.

On Wednesday evening at 6 p.m., restaurants throughout Fairfield County will be participating in the March of Dimes Signature Chefs Auction. The event, to be held at The Waters Edge at Giovanni's, at 2748 Post Road in Darien, will feature a unique assortment of live and silent auction packages including experiences with the chefs, entertainment and travel, and contribute to the very special Fund the Mission campaign, in support of "A Recipe for Healthy Babies" initiative. 

The New Canaan Beautification League are hosting their Welcome Back Luncheon Wednesday beginning at 11:30 a.m. at the Roger Sherman Inn. The presentation "Chanticleer – A Botanical Distraction from Daily Life" will take place.

The New Canaan Library has Book Babies! programs for walkers and pre-walkers Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. and 11 a.m., respectively, a Books & Bagels Book Discussion meeting at 12 p.m. and a 3-to-5-year-old Storytime at 1:30 p.m.
