Another Luxury Vehicle Reported Stolen In New Canaan: Police
The SUV had been left with the keys inside, according to Police Chief Leon Krolikowski.

NEW CANAAN, CT — A 2021 Range Rover was reported stolen from a Jelliff Mill Road home in New Canaan Wednesday morning, the latest in what has been a rash of stolen vehicles in town over the past several months.
The theft, which was reported just after 10 a.m., is believed to have occurred during the overnight hours.
"The owner of a 2021 Range Rover left the keys in the vehicle and last saw it parked in the drive of the residence at 10:00 P.M. on April 13th," according to New Canaan Police Chief Leon Krolikowski.

As of Wednesday afternoon, the vehicle had not been recovered.
Between 2019 and 2020, the number of vehicles reported stolen in New Canaan more than doubled, largely aided by the fact that virtually all of them had been left unlocked and with the keys inside, according to police.

Krolikowski urges residents to lock their vehicles, do not leave valuables inside them, and also do not leave the keys inside.
