Bear Spotted On Porch Of New Canaan Home: Video

NEW CANAAN, CT — With bear sightings on the rise in Connecticut, it's not a surprise at what New Canaan resident Dave Freedman saw out on the porch of his Indian Rock Road home on June 9.

But considering the town has reported only one bear sighting in the past year, according to the state Department of Energy and Environmental Protection, it was still exciting for him, reports the New Canaan News.
