Bike Paths Pondered For New Canaan And Darien: Report

NEW CANAAN, CT — Officials from New Canaan and Darien have begun early discussions on the possibility of bike paths linking the two communities, writes the New Canaan Advertiser.

The idea is to not only promote fun and healthier living but also promote some of the beautiful parks in both towns, namely New Canaan's Waveny Park and Darien's Weed and Pear Tree Point beaches.

Waveny is open to the public, while Pear Tree Point and Weed beaches are open to those who walk or bicycle in, according to the publication.
