Construction Along Multiple New Canaan Roads This Week: Police
Expect delays and use alternative routes if possible.

NEW CANAAN, CT — New Canaan police are warning motorists that road construction in town this week could cause traffic delays, so using alternate routes is encouraged.
In one of a pair of posts on the department's Twitter page, police warn at Jelliff Mill Road will be closed from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. through June 21 due to bridge construction work.
Also this week, natural gas pipeline work will impact drivers on Old Stamford Road and South Avenue. Work is scheduled through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
