July 4 is almost here, so it's time to find out what Fourth of July fireworks and festivities are going on near you.

What: New Canaan's 40th annual Family Fourth of July Celebration

Where: Waveny Park
When: Sunday, July 11
According to the town website, the celebration will begin at 5 p.m. and is restricted to New Canaan residents and their guests in light of the coronavirus crisis.
Planned activities include family picnicking and several gourmet food trucks. Live music will include Mind the Gap from 5:30 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. and the Town Band from 7:30 p.m. to 9:15 p.m., with fireworks scheduled to start soon after.
The event was originally scheduled to take place July 3 but was postponed due to weather.
