Fun Things to Do in New Canaan on Thursday

Hey New Canaan, a partly cloudy 72 degrees Thursday with a 20-percent chance of rain during the day gives way to showers in the evening with a temperature of 56 degrees, according to Weather.com. 

In neighboring Stamford, the Villa Maria School at 161 Sky Meadow Drive is hosting a free Private School Fair for students with learning differences Thursday night at 6:30 p.m. The fair is for all students transitioning into their high school years and are interested in learning more about private and boarding schools. 

The Historical Review Committee meeting scheduled for Thursday has been cancelled. 

At the New Canaan Library Thursday, Educator Bill Peltz hosts a College Essay Writing Workshop at 7 p.m. Book Babies! WALKERS starts at 9:30am, Book Babies! PRE-WALKERS starts at 11 a.m., 3-5 yrs. Storytime starts at 1:30 p.m. and Book Explorers for Grades 2 & 3 starts at 4:15 p.m.
