Details of good work

  • “I would like to nominate Michele Ayoub as an Everyday Hero. Michele has been leading a Zumba class for the past few years with every dollar she collects going to a local charity in need. It’s called “Zumba for a Cause” and we meet every Tuesday night. We have been fortunate to have been provided space at no charge at a number of places in town. We are now at Halo on Grove Street.”

Why do you feel is this person an Everyday Hero?

  • “One of the groups that we regularly dance for is the New Canaan Food Bank. However, the group has served many, many causes, from coat drives to prom dress collections to book donations for building libraries. It’s been an amazing cause and I’m so proud to be involved with Michele’s group.”
