Jennifer Dulos Investigation Approaches $1M In Overtime: Report

Multiple law enforcement agencies reportedly have incurred significant overtime costs associated with the search for Jennifer Farber Dulos.

NEW CANAAN, CT — Law enforcement agencies have garnered nearly $1 million in overtime costs in the Jennifer Farber Dulos investigation, more than half of which was incurred during the first two months after her disappearance on May 24, 2019, writes The Hour.

In the first 18 months after Jennifer Dulos vanished from her New Canaan home, state police personnel generated more than $700,000 worth of overtime, according to the publication. Again, more than $500,000 of which was in those first two months.

New Canaan police personnel received more than $60,000 in overtime pay during the 18-month period.

Jennifer Dulos is presumed to be dead, yet her body has not been found. Her estranged husband, the late Fotis Dulos, was charged with kidnapping and murdering her, with the assistance of Michelle Troconis and Kent Mawhinney. The Duloses were in the midst of a contentious divorce and custody battle over their five children at the time of Jennifer's disappearance.

Fotis Dulos took his own life a year ago before he could stand trial.

Troconis, Fotis Dulos' ex-girlfriend, and Mawhinney, an attorney and former friend of his, were charged with conspiracy to commit murder, and both have pleaded not guilty. Troconis' next court appearance is scheduled for Feb. 2; Mawhinney's is set for April 5.

The investigation into Jennifer Dulos' disappearance continues, with state police searching one of Fotis Dulos' former properties this month.
