Joe Scarborough's New Canaan House On The Market
The popular MSNBC "Morning Joe" anchor reportedly bought the home in 2011.

NEW CANAAN, CT — It's been an eventful year for popular MSNBC anchor Joe Scarborough. His "Morning Joe" show ratings have soared as he drew the ire of President Trump, he left his beloved Republican Party and he announced his engagement to co-host Mika Brzezinski.
Oh, and now comes word that he put his New Canaan home up for sale.
Located on Wahackme Road, the five-bedroom home rests on more than 2.6 acres and measures more than 7,500 square feet. It is currently listed for $3,690,000, which represents a price cut of more than $400,000 from the original November listing of $4,099,000.

The Connecticut Post reports that Scarborough bought the home in 2011 for $4.6 million. Whether he and Brzezinski are purchasing a new home in town or moving on was not immediately known.
Since moving to New Canaan, Scarborough, a former Congressman from Florida before turning to broadcasting, has been active in the community, and endorsed former New Canaan First Selectman Rob Mallozzi III for re-election this year. Mallozzi ended up losing in a primary to eventual First Selectman Kevin Moynihan.
