LiveGirl Encourages Girls At Grace Farms Event To 'Dream Big'
A group of 75 girls from across Fairfield County participated in the event.

LiveGirl:For some, the focus on Election Day was voting. For LiveGirl, the focus was on encouraging girls to dream big and to get civically engaged. Grace Farms provided a beautiful backdrop for 75 girls from across Fairfield County to focus on dreaming big and learning the importance of advocacy. Keynote speaker Amy Rochlin, Founder Rochlin Leadership Consulting, led the girls through a personal vision board activity. She urged the girls “Find yourself a mentor, set goals, and keep pushing toward your dreams.”
LiveGirl Founder & CEO Sheri West explained, “The power of a fierce female leader encouraging a young girl to ‘dream big’ can be life-changing.” State Representative Lucy Dathan discussed the importance of advocacy and ways to get involved civically before being able to vote. Representative Dathan encouraged, “Identify the causes you care about and to activate to make positive change.” The girls also had the opportunity to take a peaceful hike around the Grace Farms campus. LiveGirl provides year-round leadership development and mentoring for girls in grades 5-12.
