NEW CANAAN, CT — Lifetime Television will air a movie this June about the disappearance of Jennifer Dulos, the cable channel announced Thursday.

"Gone Mom" stars Annabeth Gish and Warren Christie as Jennifer and Fotis Dulos. Variety writes that the movie was written by Gregory Small and Richard Blaney; Gail Harvey directed it; and the executive producers are Dan Abrams, Ilene Kahn Power and Rachel Stockman.

Jennifer Farber Dulos, a mother of five, vanished from her New Canaan home on May 24, 2019, and is presumed dead. Her body has not been found.

Her estranged husband, Fotis Dulos, was charged with kidnapping and murdering Jennifer, but he died following a suicide attempt in January 2020, before he could stand trial. The two were in the midst of a contentious divorce and custody fight over their children at the time of Jennifer's disappearance.

Early in the case, attorney Norm Pattis, who represented Fotis Dulos, floated the theory that Jennifer might have staged her own disappearance, similar to the plot of the book and movie, "Gone Girl." Her family, and author Gillian Flynn, blasted Pattis for the accusation.

Deadline describes the "Gone Mom" film as a "based on a true story" mystery, which was produced for Lifetime by Lighthouse Pictures.

Though Fotis Dulos is dead, two people accused of assisting him in the crime still face charges. Michelle Troconis, Fotis' ex-girlfriend, and Kent Mawhinney, an attorney and former friend, still have pending cases on charges of conspiracy to commit murder. Both have pleaded not guilty.
