Two NCHS Athletes Named Ram of the Week

Caitlin Tully and Leo Magnus have been chosen as New Canaan High School Rams of the Week for the week ending February 12. After missing all of last season on the Girls Varsity Ice Hockey team due to injury, Caitlin has worked hard to get back into the starting line-up. Her work has paid off! After four games she has five goals and three assists! "She is one of our strongest players on the ice and one of the players the underclassmen look up to off of the ice,” stated Coach Rich Bulan.

Leo Magnus helped lead the Boys Varsity Basketball team to a 2-0 start by contributing on both ends and giving us a boost with his exciting dunks. “His dedication to improvement in the offseason has played a huge role in his hot start to the 2021 season,” says Coach Danny Melzer.

The Athletic Department recently implemented this award to honor an athlete who has exemplified the Athletic Department’s core values of Responsibility, Accountability, Motivation and Strength of Character. Ram of the Week is sponsored by:
