New Canaan-Based Voices Center Hosts Non-Fiction Writing Workshop

VOICES introduces a FREE 4 session beginners creative non-fiction writing workshop for 9/11 survivors.

Facilitated by Angelique Tung, survivor of the 9/11 attacks, this workshop will create a safe space for survivors to write their stories of survivorship both on the day of the attacks and beyond. NO writing experience needed.
This workshop series is free and open to all survivors of the 9/11 attacks. Registration is required and participants must commit to attending all four sessions. Space is limited.

Each workshop will be held from 7:00pm - 9:00pm on the following dates:
Week 1: Tuesday, March 16th
Week 2: Tuesday, March 23th
Week 3: Tuesday, March 30th
Week 4: Tuesday, April 6th
Each session will include a short reading and discussion, time for writing, and an opportunity for participants to share their writing and receive supportive feedback in a non-judgmental, confidential setting. Sessions will be hosted virtually via Zoom.
