New Canaan Baskin Robbins To Close This Month: Report
The ice cream shop has been a staple in town for several decades years.
NEW CANAAN, CT — The Baskin Robbins ice cream shop on Main Street in New Canaan will close later this month, ending a multiple-decade run in town, writes the New Canaan Advertiser.
Owned since the early 1990s by Anna Valente-Krolikowski, the shop is closing due to onerous new lease requirements and Valente-Krolikowski's retirement, she tells NewCanaanite.com.
The closing date is Dec. 28. Whether another ice cream shop will take its place at the location is not yet known.
