NEW CANAAN, CT — The New Canaan Chamber of Commerce and the New Canaan Library have teamed up to offer a four-part business series, "The Story of Startups," which will be virtually beginning on Feb. 2.
The free series is designed to teach budding entrepreneurs how to go from an idea to launching a viable business.
"Have you thought about launching your own business but were not sure how to begin?" organizers wrote on the chamber's website. "Join professional business advisor Christine Sullivan to learn the basics of starting your own business. Among the topics that will be covered are the logistics of whether an LLC or sole proprietorship is best for you, what kind of business plan is appropriate and what special programs the state of CT offers to support its entrepreneurs."
