New Canaan Home Sales Under $1 Million Increase

The market for homes under $1 million has almost doubled within the past year.

NEW CANAAN, CT — There has been a noticeable uptick in the number of homes under $1 million being listed and sold in town this year.

There were 35 such homes on the market in January compared to 22 in January 2016, according to the New Canaan Advertiser.

There have been 11 closings on sub-$1 million homes as of March 14 compared to six for the same time frame last year.
