New Canaan Memorial Day Parade Approaches
After the Parade, there will be a ceremony at Lakeview Cemetery.

NEW CANAAN, CT — The town will host its annual Memorial Day Parade, beginning promptly at 9:30 a.m., on Monday, May 29, First Selectman Rob Mallozzi announced.
"The theme of our Parade is 'To remember with gratitude and honor the proud men and women who gave their lives while serving in the US Armed Forces to protect and preserve a life of freedom for all Americans,'" wrote Mallozzi in a statement.
The Parade will will conclude with the Ceremony at Lakeview Cemetery, and the ceremony's program is below:

"In the event of heavy rain, a cancellation notice will be posted on the Town website, www.newcanaan.info," according to Mallozzi. "In place of the parade a Memorial Ceremony would take place in Town Hall with limited seating."
