New Canaan Menorah Lighting Dec. 12
The annual event to celebrate Hanukkah, which this year begins on Dec. 12, will be held at God's Acre.

NEW CANAAN, CT — The annual New Canaan Menorah lighting ceremony, marking the first evening of Hanukkah, is scheduled for Tuesday, December 12, on God’s Acre in New Canaan at 6 p.m. All are welcome.
This year, the 8 days of Hanukkah start Tuesday evening and run through Tuesday, December 19.
"The first night is special, as clergy from Temple Shalom in Norwalk will lead prayers and songs," wrote organizer Jonathan Bogin Levine in a statement. "Volunteer families light the candles and lead the singing on the following seven nights at 6 p.m."
