The Connecticut Department of Transportation has notified the New Canaan Police of the approval for the New Canaan Police Department to participate in a Distracted Driving High Visibility Enforcement campaign.

The dates of this enforcement campaign will be April 1, 2021-April 30, 2021.

During this enforcement wave, members of the New Canaan Police will be on patrol using both marked and unmarked police vehicles to observe for distracted driving behaviors and take enforcement action.
