New Canaan PD Warns Residents To Stay Off Roads Thursday
A Winter Storm Warning remains in effect for Southern Connecticut to 1 a.m. tomorrow, Jan. 5, according to the National Weather Service.

NEW CANAAN, CT — With snow continuing to fall in New Canaan and throughout the state Thursday afternoon, the New Canaan Police Department is warning residents to stay off the roads to allow plows to clear them.
A Winter Storm Warning remains in effect for Southern Connecticut to 1 a.m. tomorrow, Jan. 5, according to the National Weather Service, and a Coastal Flood Advisory for low-lying areas is in effect until 2 p.m. today.
Road conditions are poor and continue to worsen. Please stay off the roads so our Town and State plow trucks can safely do their jobs.
