The crash occurred in the Acme grocery store parking lot, according to police.

NEW CANAAN, CT — A 44-year-old New Canaan woman was arrested on charges of driving under the influence, evading responsibility and related offenses on Nov. 26 in connection with a motor vehicle crash in the Acme grocery store parking lot, according to police.
Jessica Pascale, of Oenoke Lane, was arrested at her home just before 8 p.m. Police had been called to the Acme parking lot on Elm Street that evening on a report of a motor vehicle crash involving a driver who "might be intoxicated" and who left the scene, police said.
Officers were given the license plate of the vehicle, which came back to Pascale's Oenoke Lane address.
