New Canaan's Weekday Forecast Includes Spring-Like Temps and Some Rain

After another gorgeous albeit slightly chilly weekend, especially first thing in the morning, it’s back to work and school for most of us.

There’s a chance of isolated showers in the afternoon and evening Monday, then Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday look like amazing spring days.

Nothing but bright sunshine and temps in the low to mid 60s, and on Wednesday temps could reach into the high 60s.

By Thursday night and lasting into Friday, we could be dealing with rain (there’s a 40 percent chance), but right on cue for the weekend, it looks like it’s back to sunshine and mid 60s.

All in all not bad.

Here is the National Weather Service’s New Canaan-specific forecast (as of the 3:56 p.m. update):

• Late Monday afternoon: Isolated showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 61. Northwest wind around 14 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
• Monday night: Isolated showers before 9pm. Cloudy, then gradually becoming partly cloudy, with a low around 45. North wind 10 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
• Tuesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 65. North wind 13 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.
• Tuesday night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 47. Northwest wind 6 to 11 mph.
• Wednesday: Sunny, with a high near 69. Northwest wind 7 to 10 mph.Wednesday NightPartly cloudy, with a low around 44.
• Thursday: Partly sunny, with a high near 60.Thursday NightA chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 44. Chance of precipitation is 40%.
